Rjukan is a fascinating and charming little town. It doesn’t get any sun (literally) Nov-April, but has a great museum, edible restaurants, and is fun to explore. There’s a crazy historical context that connects back to the Kon-Tiki.

We stayed at **Rjukan Hytteby, Brogata 9, 3660 Rjukan (cabin in recreated 1900s worker’s encampment). Nothing fancy but it’s clean and convenient.
