A tiny hamlet, without driving access in the winter. It’s in a beautiful spot in the mountains, with ski lift access and on the edge of the Savognin ski resort. We stayed at the truly wonderful ***Berghuus Radons, which was redone head to toe in late 2020. Rooms are woody, with local stone bathrooms, there’s an excellent sauna, and the chef/owner maintains a diverse and well-executed menu. It’s quite pricey and may be adults only (we’ve never seen children), but as a special splurge, it’s definitely worthwhile.

Skiing was all rolling groomers and great low angle powder. Exceptional vistas. I imagine hiking in the non-winter months is amazing.

There are two other restaurants near Berghuus Radons: **Steil’alva, which has a huge menu, big patio, and decent reviews. The food is definitely a step down from the Berghuus, but it would be a more family-friendly option. Just next to it, we haven’t tried Restaurant und Camping Muntanela Radons, which appears to be more of a summer destination.
